Local hire positions

For applicants currently residing within the region. We have two distinct application forms depending on the type of position you’re applying for:

Swimming Instructor

Please note: This is a full-time position for a candidate who is already residing in Jeddah. No sponsorship is available for this position.

The British International School of Jeddah (BISJ) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Swimming Instructor to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about swimming and youth development to be part of a vibrant, diverse, and supportive school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, child-centered Learn to Swim lessons in a safe and supportive environment.
  • Monitor and report on student progress to parents.
  • Support the development of the school’s swimming curriculum.
  • Assist with school swim meets, galas, and pool-based activities.
  • Contribute to the Stingrays swim club and extracurricular programs.
  • Support extracurricular clubs across the academic year.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Female candidates preferred due to current department dynamics.
  • Experience in teaching or coaching swimming to children.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A team player with a positive and proactive approach.
