About BISJ Secondary Section

For children aged 11-18 years old

The BISJ Secondary School is a vibrant place of learning and opportunity that builds upon the excellent work achieved by our Primary School colleagues.

We are very proud of the excellent academic outcomes achieved by BISJ students in external examinations, and the top universities that they go on to join around the world.

But the richness and breadth of experience gained by BISJ students beyond the classroom is equally important.

We offer extensive after-school activities, stunning school shows and performances, high performing sporting teams and the opportunity to travel internationally. These opportunities give BISJ students formative experiences that help to develop the whole person and leave lasting memories and friendships for life.

I truly appreciate the teachers’ commitment and consistency in striving for academic excellence. At the same time, the school offers a strong focus on extracurriculars, ensuring it’s not only about academics. Hana, IB2

British-style curriculum

Our graduates, alumni and staff look back with fond memories on their time here. Many teachers who leave BISJ choose to return and work again at the school, just as graduates and ex-students register their children with us to gain an educational experience aligned with their own.

The Secondary Section of BISJ delivers a British-style education aligned with local requirements from the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Education. A broad curriculum is delivered throughout all year groups ensuring students graduate as well-rounded and competent individuals who are well placed to excel in the challenges they will meet at university and in the workplace.

The Secondary Section Curriculum consists of three sections (Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5) aligned with the United Kingdom secondary key stages.
