Safeguarding

At BISJ, ensuring the safety, well-being, and protection of every student is our highest priority. We strive to foster a welcoming, inclusive community where all students feel secure, supported, and respected, no matter their background or nationality.

All staff undergo rigorous background checks and receive annual training in safeguarding and child protection to ensure the highest standards of student safety.

Our safeguarding practices are led by two Designated Safeguarding Leads and overseen by a dedicated Safeguarding Trustee, in full alignment with international best practices. As a global community, we actively promote core values such as respect, inclusion, individual responsibility, and a strong sense of belonging. We are vigilant in protecting students from all forms of harm, including online risks, abuse, radicalisation, and extremism. Parents and families can trust that their children are learning, growing, and thriving in a safe, nurturing, and culturally rich environment.
